PUNCH Architecture: architecture, interiors and public art with a fabrication connection. Led by Clemente Cicoria, Drew Gregory and Zak Ostrowski.
PUNCH Architecture grew out of a late-night collaboration. Clemente Cicoria, Drew Gregory and Zak Ostrowski founded the practice in 2015 while working on a project that became Found Font and Hot Dip. The Las Vegas firm has since developed a team that includes architects, designers, artists and makers.
Buildings and the objects within them
The studio provides architecture, interior design and public-art services. A separate sister company, PUNCH, LLC, designs and fabricates custom furniture, decorative lighting and specialty artwork for selected projects. That connection gives the practice an interest in both the building and the individual objects that occupy it.
PUNCH describes its work as specific to each site rather than tied to a single architectural style. Its process starts with a concept and develops it in relation to the surroundings, the client's requirements and the relationship between built and natural space.
Independent architectural coverage identifies the firm and its residential work, including Cayambe House. The studio's own account describes commissions across the United States and lists professional registrations in several western states. Las Vegas remains the base of the owner-led practice.
A collaborative studio
The current website introduces a team beyond the three founding partners, reflecting a range of design and technical roles. It also records recognition from the American Institute of Architects and the City of Las Vegas's urban-design awards, including Cicoria's 2021 AIA Nevada young-architect recognition.
The founders' original collaboration remains a useful way to understand the business: architecture shares the studio with art, interiors and making. Clients can explore that combination through the firm's published work and contact the practice to discuss a project whose scope may extend from the overall space to specially designed furnishings or artwork.
