Origin Architecture

Andrew Martin founded Origin Architecture in Las Vegas around the relationship between buildings and their surroundings. The Mojave Desert is a reference point for the studio's work: its own description emphasizes materials, craftsmanship and compositions that respond to the environment rather than a single style applied to every site.

From an idea to a building

Origin offers strategic planning, architectural design and project management. Its team works with clients to establish the purpose and goals of a project before developing the design, carrying that involvement from the initial concept toward completion. Martin is the principal architect and named founder on the firm's current website; Nevada architecture-board minutes also identify him as Origin's owner.

The studio's portfolio presents both residential and commercial work. Its named projects include 308 Apartments and 304 Apartments alongside ORE, Mojave Corporate, Express Smog, North Tilt and LV Med. That range gives prospective clients examples to discuss when exploring a building or development of their own.

Martin describes his approach in terms of everyday experience: how people use a space, how its setting influences it and how practical requirements can coexist with a strong architectural idea. The firm's stated interests include raw materials, carefully arranged spaces and the connection between users and the surrounding landscape.

A local practice

Origin is based on Griffith Peak Drive in Las Vegas. Its contact page provides a local telephone number and weekday office hours. The office identifies its architect and publishes its Nevada registration number, so clients can start the conversation with a specific practitioner and a visible body of work.
