Mobile plant shop turned indoor plant service: design, installation and ongoing care for homes, restaurants, hotels and shops across the valley.
A plant shop that comes to you
G.R.O.W., short for GReenhouse On Wheels, began as a mobile plant shop. Instead of waiting in a storefront, it toured Las Vegas and nearby towns on Saturdays, setting up at farmers markets, pop-ups and other venues. Its Instagram account, @greenhouseonwheels, is still where followers find out where it will turn up next. The founding idea has stayed the same: bring plants and gardening to people’s doorsteps, at home or at work.
Two people run it. Ibie, the owner and project manager, chooses each plant personally for every residential and commercial client. Rob, the co-owner, handles the long game, keeping those plants healthy once they are in place.
From market tables to plant care
Over the years G.R.O.W. has grown into a professional indoor plant service. It now cares for plants in restaurants, hotels and retail spaces as well as private homes, and it starts new clients with a free consultation. The owners describe the need plainly: plenty of people want their indoor plants to thrive, but not everyone has the time or the know-how to keep them going.
- Custom plant design and installation
- Regular plant care visits for homes and for businesses
- Faux plant installation and upkeep
- A grand opening plant package for businesses about to open their doors
- Plant arrangement workshops
- Plant sales at markets and events, with orders also taken by direct message on Facebook and Instagram
Out in the neighborhood
The business also turns up at community events. For Halloween 2023 it co-hosted a free, family-friendly afternoon with Mama Chai’s on Spring Mountain Road in Chinatown, where guests painted and decorated plant pots, made their own jewelry and went home with goodie bags. Supplies were provided, and RSVPs went through the G.R.O.W. Instagram account.
