It started with a pregnancy

Megan Gassler, who goes by Meg, picked up a camera in 2007 to photograph her first pregnancy and kept shooting after her oldest daughter was born in 2008. She grew up around Fort Walton Beach and Destin, Florida, studied illustration and still freelances as an illustrator on the side. Today she is a mother of five. Her husband, Joe, often assists at shoots. The business used to be called Studio of Vim before taking her name.

Sessions she offers

• Family and motherhood: maternity, in-studio newborn, family, senior, cake smash and milestone portraits
• Couples: elopements, engagements and small weddings at chapels, on Fremont Street, along the Strip or out in the desert
• Specialty portraits: boudoir, vintage pinup, fitness, branding and headshots

Elopement packages have Vegas names: The Lucky One covers a chapel or a single location in one hour, and The Jackpot adds a second stop, such as one side of Fremont Street. Specialty sessions include wardrobe guidance and posing help, with upgrades like 1950s pinup props or a short edited video for social media.

Planning help and payment plans

For family sessions, Gassler helps with concepts and styling so clients are not left planning a shoot alone. Options run from short, simple sessions to a full all in session with several looks. She also offers payment plans, so a family can book ahead without paying everything at once.

Locations: studio sessions in Las Vegas, plus outdoor shoots at Red Rock, Mount Charleston, Floyd Lamb Park and around Summerlin, Henderson, North Las Vegas and Boulder City. She also travels for sessions.
