Where the name comes from

Buldogis joins two words: bulgogi, the Korean word for grilled meat, and the American hot dog. The restaurant's tagline, “where soul meets Seoul,” covers the rest. Boyzie Milner and Mi Sun Han own and run it as a family business, pairing American soul and comfort food with Korean street food. In 2024 KTNV's Morning Blend featured the family during Black History Month, describing the food as a blend of African American and Korean influences, and named Jasmine Milner as operations manager.

Milner spent 13 years as an executive chef on the Strip before Buldogis opened in the Village Square shopping center on South Fort Apache Road. The Review-Journal wrote it up there in 2012. Back then the dining room sat about 40, the kitchen made its own sauces and kimchi, the all-beef franks were billed as much leaner than most premium dogs, and a veggie or turkey dog could stand in for any of them. The Summerlin shop still holds that address.

Dogs, bowls and breakfast

• Buldogi: beef bulgogi, Asian slaw, bulgogi aioli, green onions and sesame seeds
• Soul Dog: roasted pork belly, caramelized onions, roasted peppers, cheese sauce and a five-cheese blend
• Angry Kimchi Dog: bacon, kimchi, fiery aioli and jalapeños
• Bibim rice bowls, fries and tots, and fried chicken

These days both shops open at 7 a.m., so breakfast sits on the menu next to the hot dogs.

A second shop on Eastern

In 2025 the owners filed Clark County licensing paperwork for a second location, Buldogis Eatery, on South Eastern Avenue. The website now lists it as the Henderson-side shop, with its own phone line and menu. Both locations keep the same hours, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, and the team caters events.
