The Meeting Space: The Story
The Meeting Space is a nonprofit recovery community center at the corner of Rainbow and Patrick in southwest Las Vegas. Founded by Lisa T., the facility at 6115 South Rainbow Boulevard, Suites 103–107, hosts 112 weekly meetings for people healing from addiction, trauma, and everything in between — and it is open every single day of the year, including holidays.
The Meeting Space runs programs for Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Cocaine Anonymous, Gamblers Anonymous, Al-Anon, Nar-Anon, Codependents Anonymous, Adult Children of Alcoholics, Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous, SMART Recovery, Emotions Anonymous, and anger management. When Montevista, Serenity Club, and hospital meetings all shut down during COVID, The Meeting Space was declared essential by the Clark County Commissioners and stayed open. People’s sobriety could not wait for a lockdown to end.
The Facility
The Meeting Space operates three rooms. Room 103 holds 125 people and has full audio and video for workshops, speaker events, and The Clean Scene — a drug-and-alcohol-free nightclub on the first Saturday of every month. Room 107 seats 100 and includes a glass-enclosed, padded children’s playroom so single parents can attend meetings while watching their kids. The facility is open daily from 8 AM to 8:30 PM, with bus stops directly in front of the building on Rainbow Boulevard.
The Recovery Store
Next door in Suite 105, The Recovery Store carries everything the meetings need — newcomer chips, poker-style chips, yearly anniversary medallions, custom crystallized coins, Big Books, literature, speaker CDs, and gifts. All purchases support The Meeting Space and its programming.
About Lisa
Lisa T. also hosts The REAL Recovery Show, a podcast and radio show recorded at The Meeting Space and available on Spotify, iHeart Radio, Amazon Music, and YouTube. The Meeting Space exists because Lisa believed that recovery deserves a permanent home — not a borrowed room in a church basement, but a purpose-built facility where people can show up any day of the week and find a meeting waiting for them.
