M Place Productions puts photographers and cinematographers on the same crew, so a wedding, a family milestone or a company conference can be covered in stills and film by people who work together every week. Founder and owner Matthew Schenk trains each shooter himself, and the team says its artists have been with the company for years, which keeps the look consistent whoever is behind the camera.
The people you will deal with
Matthew leads the shoots and the training; on the wedding side he says his personal goal is to learn as many guests' names as he can. Adam, the vice president and a former wedding DJ and officiant, handles consultations, scheduling and album choices. Jesse directs cinematography and Devin directs photography. Outside the company, Matthew serves as director of education for the Las Vegas chapter of the Wedding International Professionals Association, and M Place is on Resorts World Las Vegas's preferred vendor list for wedding photography and video.
Three kinds of work
Weddings
Photo collections come with an online gallery and color and black-and-white images, with albums and engagement sessions available. Film packages run from a short cinematic film up to a traditional documentary wedding film, with vertical social edits and drone footage in some packages. There is also a social content option, with a creator on site shooting clips for TikTok and Reels. The team replies to inquiries within one business day.
Families
Family and mini sessions, newborns, playdates, high school seniors, birthdays, and bar and bat mitzvahs.
Corporate
- Conferences, galas, trade show booths and headshot stations
- Executive interviews, brand films, highlight films and live streams
- Sample photos texted to your team during the event
- Finished film and gallery five business days after coverage, with same-day recaps possible when planned ahead
The Studio @ 122B
M Place also rents out its own production space on South Valley View Boulevard, with pro lighting and grip on site. It is booked by the hour online, entry is by door code after you sign the rental agreement, and a meeting room is available on the same terms.
