Alchemy Coffee

Baklava is part of the coffee order at Alchemy Coffee. The family café on South Hualapai Way pairs coffee with Mediterranean-inspired desserts, French-style pastries and food made for a breakfast or lunch stop.

Rita Sopi and her family are behind the business. FOX5's January 2026 reporting followed the family's move from the coffee shop into another southwest-valley restaurant project, identifying Alchemy as the café that preceded that expansion.

Sweet and savory at one table

The café's own account centers on coffee and homemade Mediterranean desserts. Baklava is a recurring feature, while its pastry offering draws on French styles. The menu gives those sweets company in the form of sandwiches and other prepared food.

Current food examples include a smoked-lox bagel, turkey and ham croissants, avocado toast and Belgian waffles. Bowl options are also listed, including the Original, Havana Banana and Vitality bowls.

Those choices make the café more than a stop for a takeaway cup. A customer can build a meal around a sandwich or breakfast item, then choose a pastry or dessert from the same operation.

Hualapai Way and group gatherings

Alchemy operates from Suite 104 at 5660 South Hualapai Way. Its website provides online ordering for pickup and separate information for catering and private gatherings.

The café also takes group inquiries, allowing the space and menu to be considered for an occasion rather than only an individual visit. Reservations and party arrangements can be discussed directly with the team.

In her January 2026 FOX5 interview, Sopi described regular customers as important to keeping Alchemy going through rising costs. She connected the family's next restaurant project with her Albanian background and an interest in sharing Balkan, Turkish and Greek food with Las Vegas.

That project was a separate venture next door. At Alchemy, the established focus remains the café combination: coffee, pastry, Mediterranean sweets and a savory food menu in the family's Hualapai Way space.
