Ruben and Lidia’s family locksmith business
Ruben Ramirez learned locksmithing as a teenager from his father, Cosme. That family background continues at The Key Guy Locksmith, which Ruben runs with his wife and co-owner, Lidia. Their Las Vegas business combines car-key work with help for home locks and lockouts.
Ruben's role spans the technical work and the decisions involved in running the company. Lidia handles administration and describes doing the varied day-to-day jobs that come with a small business. Their team page also introduces technicians rather than presenting an anonymous dispatch service.
Keys for more than one kind of vehicle
The Key Guy puts considerable emphasis on automotive keys. Its published list covers domestic and imported cars, including Toyota, Honda, Ford, Chevrolet, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen. Motorcycle brands appear too, among them Harley-Davidson, Ducati, Kawasaki and Yamaha.
The company says it keeps current tools and software for car-key work. Because the list spans many makes and key systems, an owner can use the phone contact to explain the particular vehicle and whether a key is missing, needs duplicating or is locked inside.
Reaching the actual team
The contact page invites customers to call or text with car-key and home-lock questions or to request a technician for a car lockout. It publishes Monday-through-Saturday business hours and notes closures on major holidays. Calling directly is the clearest way to check availability for the job at hand.
Ruben's name and The Key Guy Locksmith also appear in the locksmith trade association ALOA's published records. Together with the company's own team biographies and Las Vegas phone number, that provides a specific identity behind the service. The business website remains the starting point for its current service information and contact details.
