Silver Star Plumbing, Drain & Sewer

Priced by the job, not the hour

Silver Star Plumbing, Drain & Sewer gives the price after the plumber has looked at the problem and before any work begins. Once the customer approves it, the bill stays the same whether the job takes one hour or eight, with no add-on charges. The company takes cash, check, Visa and Mastercard.

It is a family-owned company serving the whole Las Vegas Valley, Boulder City included, for homes and commercial buildings. Vincent Raucci and Donna Marie Raucci are its managing members in state records. Vinny Raucci is the contact for pricing and bids, and Donna Raucci for billing and general office questions. The team counts more than 25 years of plumbing experience, and Nevada's Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors association lists Vinny Raucci as its board president.

Jobs they take on

• Dripping kitchen, tub and shower faucets, hose bibs and outdoor spigots

• Sewer and water line cleaning and repair
• Gas water heaters, 40 or 50 gallons, installed to code with permits, plus water heater repair
