Ephraim Contreras's Las Vegas carpet cleaning company since 2014: truck-mounted hot water extraction, pet odor treatment, tile, grout and stone care.
Eight years of carpet work before his own company
Ephraim Contreras had spent about eight years cleaning carpets before he started Arcane Carpet Cleaners in Las Vegas in 2014. He still runs it. The business is registered as Arcane Carpet Cleaners, LLC, with Contreras listed as its manager, and a County Advisory Board profile describes him as IICRC certified.
How the cleaning is done
The main method is hot water extraction, the process most people call steam cleaning, run from truck-mounted units with soft-water filtration. On heavily walked carpet the crew adds a counter-rotating brush machine to loosen soil before extraction. The company says its solutions are eco-friendly, safe around pets and children, and leave no sticky residue.
Tile and grout get their own routine. A technician walks the floor first, pre-treats the grout lines, scrubs with the rotating brush and a hand brush for corners, then cleans with high heat and pressure. A final rinse extraction takes off the leftover cleaner, and the job ends with a second walk-through. The trucks carry ProChem Legend and ProChem Everest truckmount units, which the company says deliver more power and hotter water than portable machines.
