board games, miniatures and trading cards in North Las Vegas
Choosing a game is one part of Shall We Play?'s business. Giving people reasons to keep playing is another, through an events calendar, hobby supplies and a selection that stretches from family board games to trading cards and miniatures.
VEGAS INC interviewed co-owner Derrick Taylor in 2023 about the independent store and its approach to customer experience. The current business website lists the shop at 750 East Dorrell Lane in North Las Vegas, replacing the older location found in earlier coverage.
What is on the shelves
The catalog includes board games, card games, role-playing games, party games and educational options. Classic games sit alongside newer releases. Dice and game accessories have their own place in the selection, supporting both casual play and longer-running tabletop campaigns.
Trading-card offerings include Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, Disney Lorcana, Yu-Gi-Oh! and One Piece. Deck protection and related accessories are listed alongside the cards, giving players a way to organize and look after their collections.
The hobby around the game
Miniatures and painting supplies make the store relevant to people who enjoy building and finishing pieces as well as playing with them. Taylor's interview described miniature painting as part of the shop's wider game-store experience.
The business also lists game rentals, preorders and an events calendar. Customers can consult current listings for the games being played, scheduled gatherings and product availability rather than assuming every event repeats each week.
The shop publishes a direct email and a local phone number. Those channels are useful for checking a title, asking about an upcoming event or confirming the details of a visit to the East Dorrell Lane store.
