ReStored

Kristi Weidauer's mother was an artist and antique enthusiast who could see another life in a once-loved piece. ReStored in Boulder City grows out of that example: a shop for antique and vintage furniture, home décor and work by local makers.

After her mother's death, Weidauer brought a truckload of art, crafts and older pieces from Oregon back to Nevada. The shop's own story describes her move from Las Vegas to Boulder City and the search for a place where that family ambition could become a business.

Restoration with room for character

ReStored restores, refinishes and resells furniture and decorative objects. Its approach leaves room for both traditional restoration and more unexpected transformations. Local reporting on the opening described a checkout desk changed with stains and a blowtorch, an example of how an older piece could become something distinctive rather than be discarded.

The selection is not confined to one era or design style. Furniture shares space with smaller home accessories, and the shop provides a physical place for local artisans to display and sell handmade work. That gives visitors reasons to browse beyond a single large purchase.

A family idea made public

The business's stated focus is reuse: keeping useful pieces in circulation while changing how they look and fit into a home. Weidauer's background and her mother's craft are part of the shop's identity, rather than a manufactured vintage theme.

ReStored now lists 1268 Wyoming Street as its contact location. Earlier opening coverage described a Nevada Way space, so visitors should use the current website or call to confirm the location and hours before going. The website also includes furniture, shop and event sections for seeing what the business is offering now.
