Pet Sitting, North and northwest Las Vegas

Listed Seat #1 is saved for this business.

in-home pet care and veterinary-prescribed medication visits

Jennifer Robertson grew up in Southern California, studied animal science at Mt. San Antonio College, and trained as a veterinary technician. Her first job after school was at a Los Angeles veterinary hospital, working in emergency medicine. In 1994 she started Priority Pet Sitting, and in 2004 she moved the business to the Las Vegas Valley.

That medical background shows in what she offers. Her site says she can handle treatments a veterinarian has prescribed, including fluids, injections and other medication, so an animal with health needs doesn't have to be boarded somewhere unfamiliar.

What a visit covers

  • Pet sitting while you travel, with food, water and plenty of attention
  • Daily drop-in visits, from a midday break to a regular schedule
  • Specialty care: fluids, medication and injections
  • House care while you are away
  • Rides to and from your veterinarian, plus food and medication pickup on request
  • Doggy day care

Good to know

The service-area page names north and northwest Las Vegas, with a list of zip codes, and says prices depend on location and the kind of service. The FAQ says she is licensed, bonded and insured, takes any number of pets, will take last-minute reservations, and will take a sick animal to your vet if it comes to that. She accepts cash, check, Venmo or Zelle.

Jennifer belongs to the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America, Pet Sitters International and the Southern Nevada Association of Professional Pet Services. To book, call or text.

Rates depend on the location, the number of pets and the type of service, and any number of pets is welcome. If your return is delayed, Jennifer keeps visiting until you're back. A local directory write-up adds that scheduling is flexible with no charge for cancellations, and that she answers voicemail and email every day.
