Pinkbox Doughnuts: Stephen Siegel’s 14-Location Las Vegas Brand
Pinkbox Doughnuts opened in 2012 as a small two-shop Las Vegas brand. Longtime customer Stephen Siegel — a Las Vegas hospitality operator who acquired the historic Gold Spike in 2008 and built it into Amazing Brands — bought Pinkbox in 2018, rebranded the box-and-mascot identity, and grew the chain to fourteen-plus locations across Nevada and Utah. The headquarters operates inside the Plaza Hotel & Casino at 1 North Main Street downtown, with a flagship retail counter on the casino floor.
Pinkbox is the official doughnut partner of the Vegas Golden Knights and operates a pop-up display inside Siegel’s Bagelmania next to the Las Vegas Convention Center. The Tropicana location alone has accumulated more than 2,700 verified Yelp reviews, with the Plaza flagship at over 1,000. The brand’s pink-box identity, mascot, and signature gourmet flavors have made Pinkbox one of the most recognizable locally owned food retail expansions of the past decade in the Las Vegas Valley.
Pinkbox Doughnuts in the Las Vegas Valley
Fourteen-plus valley locations puts Pinkbox in the same scale category as national doughnut chains, but Pinkbox is owned by a single Las Vegas operator and headquartered downtown rather than absentee-managed from a coastal franchise office. The Vegas Golden Knights partnership made Pinkbox the unofficial dessert of the city’s NHL franchise, and the Plaza Hotel headquarters location grounds the brand in the same downtown corridor where Stephen Siegel’s broader hospitality operations have anchored for fifteen-plus years.
