Pimell Interiors: residential interiors and architectural detailing led by Ivan Javier Pineiro.
A fireplace wall, custom cabinetry or a better lighting plan can change the way an existing house feels. Those details are central to Pimell Interiors, the Las Vegas residential design studio led by Ivan Javier Pineiro.
Pineiro brings a background in operations and luxury hospitality to the studio's design work. The firm's public history traces its beginnings to Orlando and its later move to Las Vegas; its current practice focuses on homeowners in Summerlin and the surrounding valley. An independent Design Biz Survival Guide interview also identifies him as the principal behind Pimell.
Four ways to work with the studio
The Architectural Edit concentrates on an existing home's character through millwork, architectural details, materials and lighting. A fireplace or feature wall can be the starting point, rather than a complete renovation.
The Signature Interior Experience addresses larger changes to kitchens, bathrooms or connected rooms. It includes layout, cabinetry, finishes and lighting decisions. For new residences, major renovations and whole-home projects, the Private Commission brings those choices together with furnishings and coordination alongside the client's architect, contractor and trades.
A separate Design Intensive offers an in-home consultation before a homeowner commits to a larger project. The conversation covers the space, possible improvements and a direction for the work.
How a project begins
Pimell's published process starts with understanding the home, the owner's goals and the scope. A project evaluation and proposal come before a design agreement. The studio takes a limited number of projects so Pineiro can remain personally involved.
Its emphasis is on connecting architectural decisions with everyday use: where lighting goes, how materials meet and how the rooms relate to one another. Prospective clients can submit a project inquiry through the studio website.
