Angie Kelly’s team of mobile Las Vegas wedding officiants, marrying couples since 2011 in hotel suites, the Arts District, Red Rock and the desert.
Officiants who come to you
Peachy Keen Unions has no chapel. Its mobile officiants meet couples wherever the altar is: a hotel suite, a garden, a country club or open desert. Ceremonies can be religious, interfaith, multicultural or fully secular, and the team keeps its own beliefs out of the script.
A wedding that went wrong, then a business
Owner Angie Kelly is a Las Vegas native who worked as a private flight attendant and in social services before any of this. At her own wedding she walked away from the altar underwhelmed, after a stiff ceremony built on stale material that did not sound like her or her husband. In 2011 she started Peachy Keen Unions to do it differently and trained a team of officiants. Today she books ceremonies for a crew that includes bilingual officiants Norma and Alex, local pastor Jay, and Jacoba and Tala. She is also treasurer of the Las Vegas chapter of the Wedding International Professionals Association.
Three ceremony styles
- Elopement or microwedding, $380: 10 to 12 minutes, under 50 guests, personal vows welcome. One witness is required, and a photographer can serve.
- Traditional, $480: 15 to 20 minutes, any guest count, a classic outline filled in from your questionnaire, with an optional unity element.
- Bespoke, $850: an hour-long design session, a 30-minute custom ceremony, vow-writing help, cultural elements, a draft to approve and a rehearsal when possible.
Each includes filing the Las Vegas marriage certificate, and most scenic locations carry no travel fee.
Favorite places to say it
The team’s regular spots include the Eldorado Canyon ghost town near Nelson, about an hour from the Strip, where ceremonies start at $350 after you reserve a site with the property; the downtown Arts District; Red Rock Canyon; Valley of Fire; and a dry lake bed. Red Rock Resort lists Peachy Keen Unions among its preferred officiants.
One step is yours alone: get your Clark County marriage license from the Marriage Bureau before the ceremony. International couples whose countries require an apostille can have the team handle it for a fee.
