Music Lessons Las Vegas

A full teaching schedule led Patrick Worley to change the purpose of his website. What began as a place to find his own private lessons became Music Lessons Las Vegas, a directory connecting students with other local musicians who teach.

In an interview about the business, Worley dated that change to late 2019. Rather than keeping prospective students on his own waiting list, he made room for teachers working across instruments and styles. Students could then contact the musicians listed on the site directly.

Start with an instrument

The current directory covers piano, guitar, violin and voice, along with less commonly featured instruments such as banjo. It also includes instruction in songwriting, composition, music theory and DJ skills. The range allows a beginning instrumentalist and someone developing an existing musical practice to search within the same local resource.

Music Lessons Las Vegas describes its audience as students of different ages and skill levels. Individual instructor listings are the starting point for discussing the particular lessons a student wants, rather than assuming every teacher offers the same subjects.

A working musician behind the directory

Worley owns and operates the business as a division of Worley Music. His background combines classical study, university teaching and work as a Nashville session musician. He holds three music degrees, including a master's in music education.

His professional work has also included country and rock performances, touring, weddings, corporate events and arranging. That combination helps explain the directory's breadth: it brings together musicians whose teaching can extend beyond a single classical instrument or school curriculum. The website publishes a business email and local telephone number for people who need help finding their way into its instructor listings.
