Two owners, different routes to antiques

Founder Sarah Elizabeth Collins grew up traveling through Puerto Rico and Europe and developed an interest in searching for older objects. Her background includes a business administration degree, and the store describes her as the person who developed its original vision.

Kathleen “Kat” Weatherspoon joined the ownership partnership in May 2019 after Sarah’s sister, Mauri Collins, retired. Weatherspoon had spent nearly twenty-eight years in the Air Force before settling in Las Vegas. An interest in live auctions and collectible objects led her into the antique business.

The owners bring complementary experience to the shop. Collins concentrates on finding goods and engaging with the neighborhood, while Weatherspoon’s published biography emphasizes operations, organization and customer service. Her training includes a master’s degree in hospitality management.
