Horus Hobbies

Horus Hobbies grew from a military household’s search for the kind of connection that used to happen around a game table. The Las Vegas shop’s founders describe missing shared game nights and miniature-painting sessions after active duty, then deciding to build a place for those interests themselves.

Owner Justin Streb is identified in the Veteran Owned Business directory, while the Better Business Bureau lists him as the company’s manager. The shop welcomes veterans, active-duty service members, reservists and civilians. Its current storefront is at 1020 East Fremont Street, Suite E.

Build, paint and play

The inventory centers on tabletop hobbies. Horus Hobbies is an official Games Workshop stockist, with Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar among its categories. Introductory sets sit alongside armies, lore books and supplies for assembling and painting miniatures.

• Painting supplies include base, layer, contrast, shade, dry and technical paints.
• Brushes, adhesives, tools and accessories support the work between games.
• The online shop also carries LEGO sets and a separate range of 3D-printed figures.

Its character prints include small collectible designs and mystery packs. The veteran-business listing also describes dice towers, dice and introductory Warhammer products among the items the company brought to local markets.

A calendar built around shared interests

The store publishes event tickets and shop gatherings alongside merchandise, so visitors can look for an opportunity to play as well as purchase supplies. That calendar is part of the business’s stated aim to create connections through hobbies in a setting outside a bar.

Customers can browse the online catalog, check event availability or use the shop’s contact form for questions. Product availability and event entry are listed separately, making it possible to plan either a shopping visit or a game session.
