Heather Potvin leads Hharpp Business Services, offering bookkeeping services in Southern Nevada.
Heather Potvin founded Hharpp Business Services in 2009. Based in Boulder City, the firm works entirely online with small businesses in Nevada and California, handling bookkeeping, payroll, accounting-system setup and financial reporting. Potvin's background includes an MBA and Certified Public Bookkeeper credentials.
Construction accounting is a particular specialty. Hharpp describes job costing, retainage, progress billing and AIA billing support, along with the reporting contractors need to follow individual projects. Its software experience includes QuickBooks Online and Desktop, BuilderTrend, AccountingSuite and Sage.
From overdue books to a working system
The business accepts several different starting points: a new company's first accounting setup, current books that need ongoing support, or records that have fallen months or years behind. Monthly bookkeeping, account reconciliation, catch-up work and cleanup are distinct services. A client can also arrange training for staff who will continue working in the accounting system themselves.
Payroll support covers onboarding through year-end forms. Hharpp can manage the process or teach a customer's team to run it. The firm also offers HR-related support and cash-flow reporting, extending its work beyond recording transactions after they happen.
Its website lets business owners identify the state of their books and the other tasks they need help with before requesting a consultation. Engagements are assembled around those needs; the published service menu includes consulting and cloud accounting as well as the recurring back-office work.
The Boulder City business appears in independent chamber listings, while its own site identifies Potvin and the current service scope. For an owner who needs to organize both project-level costs and the wider company's finances, Hharpp offers one locally based contact working through a virtual arrangement.
