The Bookkeeper Las Vegas is Mae Bueta’s Las Vegas bookkeeping practice, offering monthly books, cleanups, QuickBooks work and CFO-level guidance for local businesses.
Mae Bueta says she has lived in Las Vegas for more than ten years, and her business, The Bookkeeper Las Vegas, makes a point of being local: she tells prospective clients she will come to their site, and anyone dropping off receipts can hand them to her directly. The Better Business Bureau lists her as the company’s CEO and opened its file on the business in January 2026.
What the practice does
According to the website, The Bookkeeper Las Vegas handles day-to-day bookkeeping, meaning transaction tracking, reconciliations and monthly financial reports. It also offers personal and business tax services, fractional CFO-level guidance on cash flow and budgeting, and receipt handling, with books organized and ready for a client’s CPA. The site pitches cleanups for businesses behind on their records, 1099 filing and forecasting.
Its process, as the site describes it, starts with a cleanup of existing records, then sets up a system to collect new ones, then settles into monthly bookkeeping with comparisons to earlier months.
Mae Bueta’s background
Her About page says she studied at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines and worked for several large companies before moving into U.S. business. It says she is a naturalized American citizen, a Las Vegas homeowner and a mother raising a young family here.
The site lists Intuit Bookkeeping Certification, QuickBooks ProAdvisor and QuickBooks Level 1 certification for her team, and links to Intuit badge pages.
Working with her
Some clients work virtually: the site quotes a client in Colombia whose books she keeps remotely. Local business owners can meet in person. Pricing is custom, built around the business, and the site invites an assessment call. Call 702-983-4937, the number on both the website and the BBB profile. The company says it is American-based and that its team is American.
