Hair of the Dog

Steven Bennett bought Hair of the Dog in October 2018 after years working as a groomer. He continues to identify himself as both owner and groomer, giving the Las Vegas salon a direct connection between the person running the business and the work at the grooming table.

A family grooming shop

The business describes itself as family owned and operated. Its South Jones Boulevard salon is independently listed at Suite N, with the same phone number published on its own website. Bennett also appears by name in the business's responses to customer feedback.

Services include pet grooming and bathing, along with a self-service dog wash and limited daycare. That gives owners a choice between arranging a grooming visit and using facilities to wash a dog themselves. Availability and the appropriate service for an individual pet can be discussed directly with the salon.

The business's own introduction emphasizes treating customers' animals with the care the family would give its own pets. For a prospective customer, the practical next step is a conversation about the animal, coat and requested work. Hair of the Dog provides both a direct phone number and business email for that discussion.
