HAS Jewels: handmade jewelry, embellished shirts and original artwork.
A request for a guitar shirt helped start HAS Jewels. Las Vegas maker Shannon Ruther describes experimenting with iron-on transfers for a friend's band, then continuing to make shirts that attracted questions when she wore them herself.
That beginning led to selling at First Friday in the Arts District and eventually to a broader collection of jewelry, artwork and upcycled furniture. Her Made in Nevada profile places the studio in Summerlin and identifies the work as her own handmade designs.
Small objects, decorative detail
The jewelry range includes earrings, bracelets, rings and necklaces. Vintage-inspired forms and crystal embellishment recur across the selection, with cameos, flowers and charms providing recognizable motifs.
