Austen Gardner's print and sign shop on S. Eastern Ave.: same-day copies, cards and forms, 3-5 day press runs, banners and wraps, free local delivery.
A print and sign shop built around turnaround
Franklin Printing works out of the Venture Commerce Center, on the corner of South Eastern Avenue and Pama Lane. Owner Austen Gardner sums up his approach on the shop’s contact page: “I built my business on customer service, response time, quality and fair prices.” He shares that page with the shop mascot, Lexie.
Rush jobs and press runs
The catalog splits by speed. Same-day and next-day work covers short runs: black-and-white and color copies, booklets, business cards, door hangers, flyers, labels, magnets, table tents, and carbonless (NCR) forms, including versions set up for prescriptions and for moving companies. Larger press runs take three to five business days and bring in foil, spot UV, suede and painted-edge business cards, letterhead, envelopes, notepads, and printed wine and golf ball boxes.
Signs and event pieces
- Vinyl, fabric and retractable banners
- Step-and-repeat backdrops, pop-up walls and table throws
- Coroplast and metal real estate signs, plus A-frames
- Floor decals, wall wraps and vehicle wraps
- Canvas and framed prints
How ordering works
Most products can be ordered on the website by choosing quantity, paper and turnaround, then uploading artwork, ideally a press-ready PDF in CMYK at 300 dpi with an eighth-inch bleed. The FAQ says jobs approved before 2 p.m. Pacific are processed that day, and finished work can ship blind, with plain labels, straight to a client. The shop advertises free local delivery and takes custom quote requests for anything off the menu.
It handles mailings too: Every Door Direct Mail pieces and postcards with mail service are both on the product list, and the site has a separate section for promotional products.
On materials, Franklin says it prints with soy-based inks and stocks recycled and FSC-certified paper.
