Dink Cuisine is Alicia Shevetone’s Las Vegas cookbook and recipe business for couples cooking for two, with a line of spirit-infused spice blends.
Alicia Shevetone cooks for two, and she built Dink Cuisine around that. DINK is slang for dual income, no kids; her husband Mark, whom she says everyone calls “Shev,” is the other half of the household the recipes are written for. Her website’s tagline is “Living the dink life!”

Her About page says she reserved the dinkcuisine.com domain on November 27, 2017, while living in a downtown San Diego condo, and that on September 14, 2020, she “went all in” on revising the concept and writing down recipes. She and Mark spent about nine and a half years in San Diego before moving back to Las Vegas. She says she worked in sales, through an IPO, before cooking became the job.
Cookbooks and spice blends
Shevetone’s first book, Italian Cookbook for Two, was self-published. Her most recent, Food with Spirit, came out through Histria Books, a Las Vegas publisher, according to her listing on Made in Nevada, which is written in her words. Distilled Spices, her line of spirit-infused spice blends, is made at Al Dentes Provisions in Las Vegas, the same listing says.

PBS’s Nevada Week In Person interviewed her on October 15, 2025. The episode, hosted by Amber Renee Dixon, introduces her as a chef, author, and founder of Dink Cuisine and Nice Nice Bite. Nice Nice Bite is a cookbook lending library; her site calls it “America’s first non-profit, self-service cookbook lending library.” In March 2024, KLAS 8 News Now’s Las Vegas Now introduced her as the new culinary director of Status Champagne Lounge at The Palazzo. This page does not say whether she still holds that job.
Dink Cuisine’s contact page takes appearance requests, collaboration ideas and sponsorships, and links to Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. It lists no phone number or street address, and Dink Cuisine is not a restaurant with a dining room.
