Creative Images Photography

Daniel Nollsch has been a professional photographer for more than forty years. He made his first pictures at about eleven, worked as a photojournalist, taught photojournalism at Western Nevada College, and was a photographer for the State of Nevada, at one point the Governor's principal photographer. He also photographed the Nevada Supreme Court justices; that group portrait hangs in the Capitol in Carson City. In 2005 the Assembly journal listed him among the press covering the Legislature. He opened his own studio in 1990 and has a degree in sociology, which he says is why he enjoys photographing people.

What he shoots now

Creative Images Photography, in Henderson and Las Vegas, focuses on portraits and headshots, graduating seniors, model portfolios, and glamour and boudoir sessions. After years of weddings, Daniel stopped offering them, and he doesn't photograph babies.

How a session works

• It starts with an in-person meeting. He doesn't book clients by text, email or phone.
• A 50% non-refundable retainer holds the date, and a travel surcharge may apply.
• Senior packages on his pricing page run from $499 to $649 and include 12 to 16 digital images.
• On location he brings a changing tent. When it's 100 degrees or hotter, senior sessions move into the studio.
• Active-duty military and veterans get 10% off; Daniel is a veteran himself.

He promises to redo the shoot at no charge if you aren't happy with the pictures. He is a member of Professional Photographers of America and has been associated with WPPI, and he teaches workshops and classes. Call or text 702-773-4141, or write to Cr8vImages@aol.com.
