custom banquettes, upholstery and furniture repairs
A restaurant booth has to fit both the room and the people sitting in it. CBL Seating builds around that problem, making custom banquettes and upholstered furniture for Las Vegas commercial spaces and homes.
The shapes and finishes
The company's work includes C-shaped booths, L-shaped banquettes and dinner booths. Customers can also request diamond tufting, vertical or horizontal channel tufting, upholstered walls and wall panels. Bar stools and booth seats are part of the same workroom's range.
CBL is short for Creations by Ludington. Owner Bobby Ludington opened the Las Vegas business in 2005 after a much longer career in upholstery. His account of learning the trade begins in Chicago in 1972, when an apprenticeship started with stripping chairs and removing fabric before progressing to reupholstery.
A large job for the Prudential building gave him early experience with commercial projects that ran well beyond a single piece of furniture. That background remains visible in a client scope covering restaurants, bars, nightclubs, hotels, hospitals and offices as well as residential work.
Building and maintaining the seating
The shop offers drawings upon contract and works with textile companies for fabric choices. Its service does not end at new fabrication: furniture and frame repairs are also available, including service calls. The company describes continuing maintenance as part of its relationship with commercial customers.
Its online portfolio is a starting point for looking at past constructions and upholstery treatments. A customer can then contact Bobby with the proposed setting, seating style and repair or replacement needs. That is especially useful for a room requiring a booth built to its layout rather than a stock-size item.
Based in Las Vegas, CBL serves the city and surrounding area. Direct phone and email contact put project discussions with the independent business behind the work.
