Family-run Las Vegas sweeping company since 1988: parking lots, streets, construction track-out, pressure washing, porters and event cleanup.
A shoe store manager, a window cleaner and a $200 lot
In 1988 John Bailey was managing a shoe store in Las Vegas when he asked an older window cleaner what kind of business he should get into. The answer was parking lots. Bailey spent a couple of nights watching a sweeping crew at work, landed a contract to sweep one lot for $200 a month, and bought a trailer-mounted sweeper called a Trailer Vac, built by a man in Boulder City and one of only about six ever made. With that and a Dodge pickup, he was in business. The family says it still owns the Trailer Vac.
His son Connor Bailey now runs the company as owner and president, alongside general manager Paul Loebig and office manager Brenda Ragsdale. The fleet has grown to 14 trucks, crews work day and night, and the company reports more than 650 local accounts, from casinos and shopping centers to HOA communities.
What the trucks and crews do
- Parking lots and garages: vacuum sweepers with dual gutter brooms, plus low-profile units that fit under parking decks
- Streets: scheduled sweeping for HOAs and master-planned communities, with water misting to keep dust down
- Construction sites: track-out removal and SWPPP sweeping for contractors
- Pressure washing: hot water at 4,000 PSI for sidewalks, building exteriors, stairwells and dumpster areas
- Porter service: bins, litter, gum, cobwebs and storefronts between sweeps
- Events: cleanup before, during and after races, festivals and conventions
Event work is a large part of the job. Bailey’s has swept the Rock ’n’ Roll Las Vegas Marathon course behind the runners for about 19 years, most recently in 2026, and lists Life Is Beautiful and the Las Vegas Motor Speedway among its jobs. Street customers include Rhodes Ranch, Anthem Country Club, Mountain’s Edge, Queensridge and The Ridges. The company belongs to the Henderson Chamber of Commerce and supports Project 150, which helps homeless high school students in the valley.
