Twin Translations

Identical twins Judy and Dagmar Jenner built Twin Translations around a multilingual upbringing that crossed Austria, Mexico City and the United States. Judy is based in Las Vegas and Dagmar in Vienna; together they own and operate the translation and interpreting business.

The sisters' language work includes English, German, Spanish and French, with additional languages available through professional partners. Their published clients range from small businesses and nonprofits to law firms, government agencies and international organizations.

Different work, complementary credentials

Judy's background combines language and business study. She holds a master's degree in Spanish conference interpreting and an MBA from UNLV. Her biography identifies federal Spanish court-interpreter certification, state certifications and German court registration in Nevada.

Dagmar's education includes translation and interpreting degrees from the University of Vienna and French and communications study in Salzburg. She is accredited for interpreting at European Union institutions and has held leadership roles in Austria's professional translation association.

The business offers written translation and live interpreting, serving assignments that require both language skills and an understanding of the setting. Its examples include business materials, legal proceedings, meetings and conferences.

A Las Vegas connection with international reach

Judy has served as president of the Nevada Interpreters' and Translators' Association and as a spokesperson for the American Translators Association. The sisters also teach and speak at professional conferences, according to their biographies.

An independent federal-vendor business record corroborates Twin Translations' Las Vegas operation. The firm's own site makes clear that this is a business run by the two founders, with a local base and international collaboration.

Prospective clients can describe the languages, format and purpose of an assignment when contacting the firm, so the written-translation or interpreting requirements can be discussed directly.
