LV Sewing Machine Repair

Marshall Lago runs LV Sewing Machine Repair, a family-operated service built around maintaining machines people already own. The business works with home sewing machines across the Las Vegas Valley, offering repair, maintenance and access to refurbished machines and vintage parts.

BBB identifies Lago as the owner and records the business as a sole proprietorship established in 2016. The company's own history traces his repair work much further back: he describes fixing his first machine in Fredonia, New York, in 1972 and becoming a Las Vegas resident in 1979. Those are different milestones—the start of his craft and the start of this business.

A service route without a sales floor

LV Sewing Machine Repair says it has no storefront or sales staff. Customers instead arrange service by phone or text, use a participating drop-off location, or ask about paid pickup and delivery. Scheduling depends on availability.

• Home-machine servicing ranges from basic repairs to fuller maintenance work.
• Drop-off instructions exclude cabinets and commercial machines.
• Limited on-site commercial service is discussed separately with the business.

The published local drop-off options include Heaven Sent Books & Gifts in North Las Vegas and Leather Headquarters on Boulder Highway. Confirm the current arrangement before transporting a machine.

The company also buys, restores and sells sewing machines and offers hard-to-find vintage parts. Its service policies explain diagnostic charges and estimates, with the final work depending on the machine's condition. Call or text with the model and the problem to establish which service route fits.
