LV Handyman Pro is a Henderson handyman business run by Chris Torres, doing home repairs across the Las Vegas Valley from photo-based flat-rate quotes.
Chris Torres was 14 when he started fixing houses with his uncle in Southern California. The About page says the uncle’s lesson stuck: “it is more important to get things right than to do them quickly.” Torres later started his own business in California and moved it, with his family, to Henderson. LV Handyman Pro describes him as owner and technician, and says it has been going about ten years.
How a job starts
You text photos of the problem to 725-324-4279, and the company turns them into a flat-rate quote, or looks at the work in person. Per its website, most jobs are flat-rate, so the agreed price is the price. Materials are billed separately, with receipts. The site lists a $125 service minimum, though its FAQ gives a range of $120 to $200, so confirm it when you ask for the quote.
Smaller jobs are paid on completion by cash, check, Zelle, bank transfer or card. Larger projects take a 50 percent deposit first, and an invoice follows the work.
What LV Handyman Pro fixes
- Drywall repair and interior and exterior touch-up painting
- Shelves, baseboards and trim
- TV mounting and furniture assembly
- Ceiling fans, light fixtures, outlets and Ring cameras
- Leaks, faucets and garbage disposals
- Maintenance for rental properties
The site’s small-job examples are the kind that pile up: loose cabinet handles, hinges, hanging pictures, curtain rods.
Where it works, and what it does not
LV Handyman Pro works across the Las Vegas Valley, and its site names Henderson, Summerlin, North Las Vegas, Lake Las Vegas, Centennial Hills, Spring Valley, Southern Highlands, Mountain’s Edge, Desert Shores, The Lakes, Rhodes Ranch and Enterprise. Hours are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week, according to the site.
The website also explains where its work stops. It cites Nevada’s rule that handyman repair work is allowed when labor and materials total under $1,000 and no permit or specialty trade license is needed, and it leaves out major structural plumbing, HVAC and electrical panel upgrades. It says the company is insured and background-checked. No contractor license number is listed on the site.
