Las Vegas Dental Group opened in 1973 and has never moved. It still works out of its original office on West Charleston Boulevard in the central valley, a short drive from downtown and the Strip, and it treats families from Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson and Summerlin along with visitors who need a dentist while they are in town.
The dentist who owns it
Dr. Nicholas Maffeo, DMD, owns the practice and sees patients only there. Born in Boston, he grew up in Las Vegas and graduated from Ed W. Clark High School in 1990. He earned a kinesiology degree at UNLV in 2003 and his dental degree from the UNLV School of Dental Medicine in 2007, then completed a general practice residency at the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida. He is a certified Invisalign provider and belongs to the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the American, Nevada and Southern Nevada dental associations.
Associate dentist Dr. Steven Morris graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy dental school in 1995 and practiced for about a decade before moving to Las Vegas to be near family. Hygienists Danielle Maffeo and Rebecca Doyle complete the clinical team; Doyle is a third-generation Las Vegan certified in laser therapy.

Nervous patients can ask about sedation. The office accepts most dental insurance plans and offers financing, including CareCredit. It does not treat TMJ disorders and suggests a specialist for those. Parking is plentiful and the building is wheelchair accessible.
