Cervantes Garage Door Services

Moises Cervantes is the president of Cervantes Garage Door Services, a family-owned shop that says it has worked on garage doors across the Las Vegas Valley since 2005. The Better Business Bureau lists him by that title. Customers use his first name: one review on the company's website says, "Moises came in at 9:30 and was done an hour later."

What gets fixed

Cervantes installs and repairs residential and commercial garage doors, openers and accessories. The repair list on its website covers what usually goes wrong with a door:

• spring and cable repair
• doors that have come off their tracks
• opener repair and installation
• safety sensors and roller replacement
• weather stripping and routine maintenance

For a new door, the crew helps a homeowner choose a material (steel, vinyl and wood are the examples its site gives) and installs it. Businesses can call for the same repairs on commercial overhead and roll-up doors.

How a job goes

1. Call 702-875-4005 or fill in the online form to ask for a quote. The shop sends an estimate.
2. Approve the estimate and Cervantes sets a date and time.
3. One of the crew comes to the property and does the work. The total follows afterward. The company takes all major credit cards, and businesses can ask for an invoice.

A remodeler's reference

I remodel houses and every house I do I call Cervantes … I just send them to the houses I don't need to baby sit anyone, they finish and send me the bill.

That is Melina F., a house remodeler, in a testimonial on the company's website. Cervantes serves Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas and Summerlin.
