CARS Complete Auto Repair Specialists

CARS started in Las Vegas in 2000 as a modest repair shop and has grown into a service and tuning facility on Wynn Road, on the west side of Interstate 15 across from Aria. It is family owned, and both owners, Moe and Cesar Buritica, came up as technicians.

The people under the hood

Moe Buritica is a former factory technician with more than 20 years in the trade, learned in New York and Las Vegas, and he also brings a background in sales. Cesar Buritica has more than 30 years of experience, is a certified European automobile technician, and spent years as a shop foreman training entry-level technicians.

European cars first, but not only

The specialty is European makes: Audi, Volkswagen, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Mini and Land Rover. The shop also works on late-model exotics, naming Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Ferrari and McLaren, and says it services every other make and model as well. It is an authorized WorldPac dealer.

Work the shop lists

• Maintenance, repair and computer diagnostics, including mileage-based service for any manufacturer
• In-house factory programming of a car's onboard computers
• GIAC software tunes, performance parts and specialty alignments
• Pre-purchase inspections, plus VIN inspections for Turo, Uber and Lyft drivers
• Body repair, custom vinyl wraps and powder coating for wheels and calipers
• Tires and wheels, and A/C service for systems that run R-1234yf refrigerant

If a car can't be driven in, the shop can arrange a tow, and it runs a shuttle to take customers home or to work while the car is in the bay. It accepts third-party extended warranties. CARS also helps buyers find pre-owned vehicles, putting each one through a diagnostic check before delivery.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; closed weekends.
