An office layout, a restaurant interior and a multifamily common area ask different questions of a designer. WHL Design Group addresses all three kinds of commercial setting from its Las Vegas practice. Larry Ward founded the firm in 2011, building on earlier work in the local design industry.

The business organizes its portfolio around hospitality, corporate offices, retail and multifamily or HOA properties. Independent Las Vegas reporting has quoted Ward about restaurant design, corroborating his connection to the firm and its commercial work.

## Before the finish selections

WHL's service menu begins with analysis. It lists building measurements, drawings, square-footage review, tenant-plan analysis and space projections. Those tasks can help define what a business is working with before the team develops an interior concept.

Design services then include space planning, interior details, finish selections, custom furniture and millwork. The firm also works with signage, artwork and accessories. Its technical offerings include presentation boards, three-dimensional renderings, specifications and documents supporting tenant improvements.

## Following through on the project

Procurement and coordination form another part of the practice. WHL lists project bidding, cost evaluation, vendor negotiations, purchasing, receiving and warehousing. Installation coordination and work with vendors or contractors extend the engagement into the stage when the design is being put in place.

That breadth makes the firm's published process more than a collection of room photographs. It covers the existing space, the proposed plan, the materials and the arrangements needed to complete the interior. Clients can discuss which of those responsibilities belong in their particular project.

The office is on South Highland Drive, with a local phone number and consultation route published online. Ward's named leadership and the detailed commercial service menu anchor the business in Las Vegas's working design community.
