Downtown Summerlin is the setting for Vision by Amel, the eyewear and eye-care business founded by Amel Youssef. Her name is on the boutique, and Summerlin's own interview with local women business owners independently identifies her as the person behind it.

That local interview places Youssef among entrepreneurs operating in the shopping district and discusses her connection to Las Vegas. The business's current website carries the same founder identity, tying the store's name to an actual owner rather than an anonymous retail brand.

**A boutique with an examination side.**

Vision by Amel combines an optical selection with optometry services. Its published scope includes eye examinations and contact-lens fittings, including specialty scleral lenses. The practice also describes Visionix diagnostic technology as part of its examination resources.

The retail collection includes names such as Cartier, Gucci, Balenciaga, DITA and Tom Ford. Those are eyewear lines carried by the boutique; Vision by Amel itself is the local business selecting and selling the frames. Customers can ask the staff about the current collection and the lens options appropriate to their prescriptions.

This arrangement brings the choice of a frame and the clinical questions surrounding vision into one business. A visitor interested in a designer frame has a different starting point from someone arranging a contact-lens examination, and the office can direct those requests accordingly.
