Terri Stroman started Sweetwater Yarns after seeing how far fellow knitters and crocheters traveled for supplies. Her own nearest yarn shop was forty minutes away. In August 2019, she turned that frustration into a Southern Nevada business that could bring yarn and tools to customers through local events and online shopping.

The business remains small and home-based, with an in-person satellite booth at Paradise Mall on East Flamingo Road. Stroman's current website says the booth reopened on March 17, 2026. It is Booth 83, in the far-right row when entering the mall, with purchases handled through the mall's central checkout when she is not there.

## What fills the shelves

Sweetwater carries yarn in different fibers, weights and colors, including selections from Cascade and Berroco. The satellite-shop announcement also identifies limited Lion Brand stock. The range is accompanied by the practical tools that keep a project moving: scissors, tape measures, stitch holders, needle gauges and other notions.

The store's Facebook updates announce appearances and times when Stroman will be at the satellite booth. Her published email is the direct route for product questions, project ideas or event inquiries.
