Claudia Cabrales handles floral design while Gabriella Cabrales manages the office at Sweet Thorns. The co-owners built their family-run flower shop in Reno’s Midtown, bringing the creative and customer-contact sides of the business into a shared operation on South Virginia Street.

## Two roles behind an arrangement

The shop’s introduction describes Claudia’s years of floral design experience and her interest in developing arrangements around a customer’s ideas. Gabriella is the person focused on inquiries and orders, including helping someone who has an occasion in mind but has not chosen the flowers.

Customers can request particular colors or blooms, with availability depending on the season and supply. That option is useful when an arrangement needs to fit a celebration or a recipient’s preferences. The business also provides space for delivery instructions and an option to add small gifts or keepsakes where offered.

## Everyday flowers and event work

The current catalog includes bouquets for birthdays, anniversaries, sympathy and other occasions, alongside wedding and event work. Orders can be placed online or discussed by phone. BloomNation’s independent florist marketplace also lists Sweet Thorns at the same Reno address, with its arrangements and customer ordering information.

The shop serves homes, businesses and event locations through its delivery offering. Timing and fees should be confirmed for the specific order; the business’s own information distinguishes delivery arrangements from simply selecting a bouquet in the catalog.

Sweet Thorns’ identity comes from the Cabrales partnership: one owner developing the floral work and the other organizing the customer conversation. Its Midtown storefront and direct contact information provide a local point of contact for people sending flowers in Reno or planning floral details for an event.
