## Started in a garage

Sin City Yoga began in 2012 in a small garage. It is now a family-owned studio on South Main Street in the Arts District, running more than 30 classes a week, seven days a week, both in the studio and online. Natasha Landrum is a co-owner and teaches there too.

### Styles on the schedule

- Vinyasa and flow, linking breath to movement
- Power yoga, for more of a workout
- Ashtanga, a set sequence of postures
- Yin, with long holds that work connective tissue
- Restorative, slow and gentle for recovery

Its teachers are certified through Yoga Alliance, and the studio aims for classes that attend to mind and spirit while still making you sweat. When The Nevadan News asked readers in 2024 to name their favorite Las Vegas yoga studios, Sin City Yoga landed in the top three, and the write-up credited instructors who mix laughter in with the focus.

### What it costs

**Rates on the studio’s website:** $40 for 30 days of unlimited classes for new students; $99 a month for unlimited membership with free mat rental, five guest passes a year and 10 percent off in the boutique; $25 for a day pass; $199 for a 10-class pack good for six months; and a $27 visitor special that covers a class, a mat and a bottle of water.

### Private sessions and teacher training

Private yoga, Reiki energy sessions and yoga bachelorette parties are scheduled by email. The 200-hour, Yoga Alliance-approved teacher training covers postures and alignment, anatomy, the Yoga Sutras and the eight limbs, chakras, and how to teach vinyasa, power, yin and restorative classes. Trainees get unlimited studio classes while they study, and the program has also been held in Costa Rica and Thailand.
