Richard Luke arrived in Las Vegas in 1984 after completing an honors architecture degree at the University of Technology in Sydney. He opened his own practice in 1986. Richard Luke Architects now focuses on high-end custom residential design, with selected commissions elsewhere in the United States and internationally.

## A house shaped around the client

Luke's account of the practice emphasizes his personal participation in each commission. The firm does not identify itself with one architectural style; instead, it describes adapting the design to the client's preferences while considering practical use alongside the appearance of the house.

The firm's published project collection gives prospective clients a way to explore that residential focus. Its independent coverage includes a courtyard house featured by Trends, which identifies Luke as the architect and supplies the practice's professional contact information. That project coverage provides an outside record of the firm's custom-home work.

Luke's background connects Australian architectural training with a longstanding Las Vegas business. The firm's own history supplies the specific dates of his degree, move and practice opening, rather than relying on an undated claim about years of experience.

## Starting a conversation

The practice publishes a direct email address and a local telephone number. Its inquiry form asks for the prospective client's location and a description of the work, giving the architect a starting point for discussing a commission.

Richard Luke Architects is a named-owner design practice centered on individual homes. The public information is particularly useful for someone seeking a residential architect who will personally shape the design: the owner describes direct involvement, the portfolio focuses on custom houses, and independent project coverage documents the work beyond the firm's own presentation.
