Retro Manufacturing, a family-owned Henderson company, has spent its time since 2008 on the alternative: stereos that look period-correct from the driver’s seat but carry the technology of a new car. ## Radios that fit the dash The company sells its radios under the RetroSound name. Every radio motor has Bluetooth 5.0 built in, along with USB, and depending on the model, HD Radio, SiriusXM readiness, DAB+ and display colors you can change. The Motor 4HD can be run from a phone app. Styles are matched to eras and makes: - **Traffic and Monza:** for European classics such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Jaguar and MG - **Liberty:** for 1960s and ’70s GM and Ford cars with modified dashboards - **Dallas:** an officially licensed Ford radio for 1985 and 1986 F-Series trucks, Broncos and Mustangs - **Grand Prix:** a 1980s-style single-DIN unit - **Build your own:** a customizable radio with a set of vintage faceplate overlays Around the radios sit RetroAntenna replacement and power antennas, RetroMat sound-deadening material, RetroPods for mounting speakers in cars that never had them, plus kick panels, amps, subwoofers and RetroBelt seat belts. Coverage runs from the 1940s through the 1990s, and many parts are officially licensed for Ford, GM and Mopar restorations. ## Selling to the world from Henderson Owner Steve Harrington told KTNV in 2019 that his customers come from every corner of the world. A state STEP export grant helped the company travel to meet buyers abroad, and Harrington said the business had grown by double digits since moving to Henderson six years earlier. The company lists SBA 2020 Nevada and Region IX Exporter of the Year awards and prints its manuals and packaging in several languages. It also lists the Henderson Chamber of Commerce’s 2021 All in the Family Award for family-owned businesses, and it belongs to the SEMA and ARMO industry groups. **Hours:** Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Pacific. ## Contact Retro Manufacturing 7470 Commercial Way, Henderson, NV 89011 [702-483-2222](tel:7024832222) or toll-free [1-888-325-1555](tel:18883251555) [Business website](https://www.retromanufacturing.com/) Researched September 26, 2026.
