A broken laptop does not always require a replacement, and a replacement does not always have to be new. Reno Computer Fix works on both sides of that decision: repairing computers and selling refurbished business-class laptops from its South Wells Avenue shop.

The business was founded in June 2011. Owner Justin Pederson is identified in independent business records, while the current website retains the same South Wells location and phone number. The shop serves individual users and small businesses, with work available at the counter and through several off-site options.

## What comes across the repair bench

Its listed work covers broken screens, hardware failures, software problems, Windows repairs, virus removal, password resets and Apple MacBook repairs. PCs, laptops, iMacs and MacBooks are included. Upgrades and data recovery are offered as well, with recovery dependent on what can actually be retrieved from the device.

For customers replacing equipment, the store carries refurbished Dell, HP, Lenovo and Apple laptops. It says systems are cleaned and tested and come with local support. The business also builds custom gaming PCs around a customer's budget and selected components.

## Beyond a walk-in repair

- House calls cover setup, troubleshooting and technology support in Reno and Sparks.
- On-site business service is available for offices, retailers and other small firms.
- Remote support addresses suitable software issues over the internet.
- Pickup, delivery, electronics recycling and data-destruction services provide other ways to handle equipment.

Reno Computer Fix advertises a free over-the-counter analysis. Customers can ask about the problem first, then discuss repair options, a refurbished replacement or the shop's laptop-buying service. Its direct email and phone reach the local operation at 1170 South Wells Avenue.
