They teamed up in April 2015 and opened the doors on May 15 of that year. Reece has a background in real estate and business; he started his own sign-post company and managed a number of properties around the Las Vegas Valley. Banks owned a carpet cleaning company, sold it, and moved into pest control. The site calls Red Rock family owned and operated, "not a big franchise company." ## Scorpions after dark Scorpion work is where Red Rock's method is most specific. A technician arrives after dark, the lights around the house are turned off, and a black light shows the scorpions, which glow. Red Rock collects what it finds, treats a band six feet out from the foundation all the way around the house, treats the cracks along the exterior foundation, and sweeps with the black light a second time. In May 2016, KTNV Channel 13 reported the three scorpion hot spots Red Rock had identified: near Mountain's Edge and Fort Apache, near Hualapai and the 215, and near Buffalo and Flamingo. "We kind of find them everywhere but there are pockets that are a lot worse than others," Banks told the station. The story gave the same phone number the company uses today. ## The rest of the list Red Rock also treats ants, bed bugs, birds, rodents, cockroaches and termites, for homes and for businesses, and says it uses integrated pest management. A free inspection starts the conversation, and the company writes plans around the property instead of selling one package. ## Where the trucks go The service list on the website runs from Boulder City to Summerlin: Anthem, Green Valley, Henderson, MacDonald Ranch, Mountain's Edge, North Las Vegas, Paradise, Peccole Ranch, Providence, Rhodes Ranch, Seven Hills, Silverado Ranch, Spanish Trail, Spring Valley, Whitney Ranch and Las Vegas itself. The office is on North Pecos Road. ## Contact Red Rock Pest Control 4300 N Pecos Rd, Suite 29, Las Vegas, NV 89115 Las Vegas Valley and Boulder City 702-518-2580 [Business website](https://www.redrockpest.com/) Researched October 18, 2026 and rechecked October 19, 2026 against the business’s own website and independent records.
