R.D. Talley Books has since grown into an independent bookstore carrying other authors' work, with a physical shop inside Fashion Show Las Vegas. Talley's account traces the business to a home-based publisher in 2019. Online retail followed as he began promoting fellow authors, and the first Las Vegas storefront opened in May 2023. After changes of location, the store's current press kit identifies Fashion Show as its home and records a June 2026 reopening there. ## Across generations and genres The selection includes books for children, young adults and adults. The shop's online bookselling page organizes reading into children's books, memoirs and biographies, poetry and plays, science fiction and fantasy, history, romance and fiction, and inspirational writing. Coloring and activity books sit alongside those reading categories. Books written by Talley have their own section, preserving the connection between his work as an author and the wider store. His stated interest is in positive-oriented, educational and candid books, with room for readers from different backgrounds and beliefs. ## A smaller setting for author visits The Fashion Show space measures about 1,200 square feet, according to the store's press kit, with roughly 1,000 square feet used as a showroom. It describes a stock of more than 1,100 titles and merchandise items. Book signings and small readings are the events best suited to that footprint. For other formats, such as author talks, the shop may explore working with another bookstore at a separate location. Prospective visiting authors can contact Talley directly about the format and space they need. The business also maintains a Bookshop.org storefront, giving customers a way to browse its selections online while staying connected to this locally run bookseller. ## Contact R.D.
