Kristy Wegert created My Workout Buddy for people who want personal guidance with fitness, including those who feel uncomfortable in a conventional gym. Her Las Vegas business offers private and online training, with an individual plan that can change as a client's needs and experience change.

Wegert is an ACE-certified personal trainer. Her own biography describes a personal lifestyle change that led her toward this work, and an independent business directory identifies her as the founder of the local practice. The business serves the Summerlin area and also works remotely.

## The first hour

A free consultation is used to discuss needs, goals and the next steps. Wegert then develops the plan with the client, works through it during appointments and refines it as they progress. Her explanation specifically includes what happens between sessions, when someone is using the plan without a trainer beside them.

The service range includes strength training, functional training, kettlebells, core work, balance and mat Pilates. Wegert also lists basic fitness yoga, boxing, suspension training and race preparation among her specialties. Older adults are one of the groups she specifically welcomes.

Depending on the plan, clients may receive personalized instructional videos and resources for their goals. These materials extend the coaching beyond the appointment and provide a reference for practicing movements independently. Nutrition guidance is described as another component of her fitness work.

The business publishes an email address and a direct phone number for contacting Wegert. Its private and online options give customers different ways to work with the same trainer. The process begins with a conversation about the individual rather than an assumption that every new client should follow the same workout.
