Its Decatur Boulevard location began as Jo-Ell's in 1969, according to the diner's own account. Lou joined the staff in 1972, then bought the business with Jim Lauber in 1997 and gave the restaurant the name it carries today. Brian Genco and Julie Usyk took over in December 2015.
