Salvador Duer won first place at the College of Southern Nevada's Blackstone LaunchPad Side Hustle Expo with the landscaping business he had started in 2020. NV Grow's account of the event identifies both the student entrepreneur and his company, Duer Does It Green.

Today the family-owned operation serves homeowners, commercial properties, homeowners associations and property managers across Las Vegas, Henderson and North Las Vegas. Duer remains the founder and hands-on owner.

## Landscaping for a desert property

The company's work includes desert-adapted landscape design, irrigation installation and repair, cleanups and continuing maintenance. Its own account connects Duer's environmental-management studies at CSN with his practical work in Southern Nevada landscapes.

Irrigation is a distinct part of the service range, rather than an incidental task added to mowing or cleanup. The company describes its broader approach in terms of clear scopes, scheduled work and ongoing care for the property.

That scope reaches from a homeowner's yard to shared grounds managed by an association or commercial property team. Residential and commercial services have separate routes on the business's website, so inquiries can begin with the type of property involved.

## From a student business to an ongoing operation

The expo recognition offers an independent snapshot of the business during its development. Duer's current company account gives the starting year as 2020 and describes a family-run operation that has continued to expand its grounds-maintenance work.

Customers can request a quote through the website or contact the business by its published phone number and email. The site lists hours of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. throughout the week.

Duer Does It Green brings design, irrigation and recurring maintenance into the same service offering, with the local owner continuing to lead the work.
