Patrick W. Ledbetter founded Desert West Services after a career that included military service and work with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. The former Army Ranger and retired SWAT officer is identified as the company's president and owner in its independent business record. The family-owned heating and cooling company began in 2011.

Its work now covers homes and light-commercial properties around Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Enterprise and Spring Valley. The company's account of its growth starts with a single service truck and expands to service and maintenance vehicles, an installation crew, dispatch support and field management.

## Cooling, heating and the air in between

Desert West installs and services air conditioners, furnaces and heat pumps. Its equipment range includes conventional split systems and ductless mini-splits, with thermostats and indoor-air-quality work forming another part of the offering. Duct cleaning is also listed.

The business identifies itself as a Trane Comfort Specialist and a Mitsubishi Diamond dealer. Those equipment relationships sit within a broader service operation that addresses existing systems as well as replacement and installation projects. Its light-commercial work includes larger equipment than a typical residential unit, while the household service menu remains a central part of the business.

## A local service history

Ledbetter's biography traces his connection to Las Vegas back to 1973. That local history and the company's named ownership distinguish it from a generic air-conditioning referral site. The published service area spans multiple valley communities, with one business handling repair, maintenance and installation inquiries.

Owners can contact Desert West to describe the property, equipment and current concern. Whether the discussion involves a malfunctioning cooling system, a heating repair or a new ductless setup, the company's stated specialties provide a concrete starting point for the visit.
