## A family trade that began in Southern Utah

City Seamless Rain Gutter's story starts in 1976, when Kent Peterson began hanging rain gutters in Southern Utah. Cody Peterson learned the trade under Kent for about 20 years and took ownership in 2012. He brought the operation to Las Vegas, and City Seamless opened in the Valley in 2014 with his partner, Jin-Ming Lai.

## What the crews install

Gutters are fabricated in one-piece runs and installed on homes and commercial buildings. The standard aluminum is .032 gauge, which the company notes is heavier than the .027-gauge stock many installers use.

- Aluminum gutters in K-style, half-round and straight-face profiles, in 5-inch, 6-inch or custom sizes
- Copper and galvanized steel systems, plus custom and box gutters
- Downspouts in 2x3 and 3x4 inch sizes, and drainage work
- Gutter guards and leaf screens, repairs, cleaning and annual inspections

More than 50 baked enamel colors are offered, with custom color matching. Materials carry a 30-year warranty, and the workmanship has a 5-year guarantee.

### Patio covers, too

A sister patio-cover operation, working under the same Nevada licenses, builds Alumawood and Four Seasons Elitewood covers: solid, lattice, insulated, combination and free-standing, along with awnings, carports and RV covers. The crew pulls the building permit for every patio cover and works within HOA color and design rules.

## Licenses and track record

Nevada contractor licenses #0081882 and #0082656 cover the gutter work, which the state classifies as C-13 sheet metal, and the company is also licensed in Arizona, California and Utah. By its own count it has put gutters on more than 30,000 homes, and it lists Best of Las Vegas customer-service wins from the Las Vegas Review-Journal in 2024 and 2025. Crews cover Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Summerlin, Green Valley, Centennial Hills and Boulder City, and travel to Mesquite, Pahrump and Laughlin.
